Apple Almond Pudding

Apple Almond Pudding

Serves 6 people.

What you need

  • 1 lb. Apples
  • 4 oz. Caster Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 oz. Butter
  • 2 oz. Fine Breadcrumbs
  • 2 oz Ground Almonds
  • A few blanched almonds


  1. Peel, core and cook the apples in a saucepan.
  2. Melt the butter in another saucepan and add the sugar, ground almonds and a beaten egg. Mix well.
  3. Mix apples with breadcrumbs and put into a greased dish.
  4. Top with the almond mixture and decorate with the blanched almonds.
  5. Bake for 45 mins. @ 180°C
